| We are from suburban Chicago and frequently spend the weekend in the city. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is a wonderful hotel. It has a great location, just a short walk to Michigan Avenue, Old Water Tower, Navy Pier, shops, restaurants, etc. The Crowne Plaza’s intimate feel is ideal for a couple’s weekend. The rooms are great, the beds out of this world, the rates more than reasonable and the service is top-notch. Don’t forget to try the Elephant & Castle Pub on the first floor for some great scotch! We can’t wait to come back soon! |

We had 9 members of our family at this hotel (from age 9 to age 70). Most of the rooms were suites. My wife & I and my sister-in-law each had a suite with 2 beds, 2 rooms, full kitchen with dishes, pots, silverware. Large rooms, also had a balcony. My nephew had a larger suite with a sofa/bed large enough for their two sons. Parking was free and secure but a tight fit for larger vehicloes (SUVs, etc). Lots of restaurants in the area within walking distance. A variety of price ranges and ethnicity. Robson St. shopping was a longer walk but doable if not raining. _________________ Sunset Inn |
